Kathmandu, Nepal — The 35th Annual Day of the Central Department of Microbiology at Tribhuvan University (TU) was graced by an inaugural address from Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, who lauded the department’s pivotal role in elevating academic excellence and research standards across the university.Speaking at the event held at the department’s premises in Kirtipur, Prof. Dr. Aryal emphasized that the Institute of Science and Technology (IoST) has been at the forefront of academic advancement and cutting-edge research, significantly enhancing the overall prestige and global standing of Tribhuvan University.
On the occasion, Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Shankar Prasad Khanal, highlighted the Central Department of Microbiology’s outstanding contributions to both national and international research initiatives, underscoring its leadership in microbiological studies and innovation. The program was chaired by Head of the Central Department of Microbiology, Dr. Dev Raj Joshi.
